What Do You Think?

Health and Wealth.. Which one is more important?

A lot said ,"Come on! Definitely health is more important!" Alright, Let me ask you, if you have health and you don't have wealth, how can you enjoy life? You will just work to your death earning money.. Ya, with health, wealth will come right?.. But what if you don't have health as well as wealth? OMG! That would be dreadful... And that is almost what everyone on this earth is suffering from.. When you have wealth but you don't have health then it may be still fine because you can use all your wealth to get back your health... If you can't get back your health..it is still fine too, at least you manage to live longer... by the way, what's the use to have so much money but you can't bring them along to your grave? Right? haha.........

The most wonderful thing happen to a person is one has both health and wealth... Don't ask me how? But it is less likely to happen.. Only minority of people will have the fortune like this.. because You will lose your health in pursuing wealth; you will lose your wealth in pursuing back your health... You just can't get two ends meet... That is the Law of Nature.. =)

Fun is waiting for me in this Chinese New Year break....


This morning, our good looking English 4U lecturer, David gave us two assignments due in the week after CNY.. TWO..TWO!!!! One is the essay (1200 words to 2000 words!!) criticise one piece of literature in our course..(They have a book called ECHOES 12 and inside, they have compiled lots of literacy works...)! Please..those who ARE NOT IN ICPU..DON'T EVER SAY:" CEH...! ESSAY ONLY WHAT!!"

IMAGINE! One piece of POEM, They want you to write 1200 words to 2000 words criticising the poem... The word criticising here is more gentle.. Example, Mimetic criticism, feminist, historical, marxism, and many more..... And the other one is Presentations.. OMG!!! Same thing also.. Criticise a piece of literature..15 to 20 minutes..

But the irony part is, David told the class,:" Guys, don't worry about these assignments, we will have working period in classes after the break. You guys just finish your Independent Study Unit novels will do. Please finish it during CHINESE NEW YEAR." WALAO!!! This is fun..! Reading books in Chinese New Year... And the Independent Study Unit thingy, I don't want to further elaborate here.. It makes me go nuts!

So, I will definitely have great fun and joy in this Chinese New Year... Cousins playing cards while I am flipping the pages of my novel... People chatting while I am trying to digest what the hell I have read in my classical novel... Visiting friends or relatives, people bring presents and goods while I bring a classical novel.. haha......... One whole week keep worrying about those assignments... This definitely will excite me and make my blood pressure pump high..


Life is Good.. Isn't it? Sometimes, It is just too Good..

Chinese New Year is just around the corner... Exactly one week from now...

I have nothing much to say here... and I am waiting and expecting fun in the following week.... Hope really can enjoy and face "hell" again after that...

So, Last week nothing much happen... haha..... I forgot what happened last week... but I know what will happen later.. I will have my very first Physics Quiz..(ya..Not unit test..Only Quiz...). Physics is really hard... Kinematics in two dimemsions....WALAO....

OK... Not going to blog anymore.. gotta study... And I read in Xiang Rong's post... Will there be assignments (What writing assignments and presentations... I guess the writing one will not be any good..for sure >600 words essay on literature or maybe worse...) given to us during CNY???? OMG!!!! ****!!!!..... If there really is... ****.... We can't enjoy anymore!!!.....

Satire............

Satire... Hell I don't know the meaning of this word.. It is a literary device..English 4U... Had checked in Wiki.. It is an attack on something which the author strongly disapproves, using the weapon of wit..wiT..wIT...WIT.. Featuring strong vein of irony and sarcasm... We always said people are sarcastic.. Do you really know the true meaning of sarcasm??? or Irony??

Mimetic Criticism of literature...Judge the literary work based on the Reality of the world and human life.. There are many other types of criticism in literature,, All are used to CRITICISE the bloody piece of literature.. haha...... Must be very fun if u knew all the types of criticism... haha....hehe....haha....hehe..............

To my buddy, Tze Jun.. This is not a post on academic stuff ... This is my LIFE!!!! I have to learn literature in a deep..deeper...deeper...deepest....perspective............ haha............ Why must we learn literature in English 4U???????

My Second Semester

So, my second semester of ICPU had started on Wednesday,7th January 2009. Can't believe one week is going to end and today is Friday.

Here is my timetable:
Calculus and Vectors: Ms. Foo Period 3
Physics: Mr. Gary Allan (Canadian) Period 5
English 4U: Mr. David Borden (Canadian) Period 6
Moral Studies/Malaysian Studies: Mr. Tong J.C. Period 1

I have my break in period 2 and period 4
The duration for each period is 1 hour and 15 minutes... My class starts on 8a.m.

haha...... I think I have given too much information here.. hehe.............

Basically, classes are now fine but I don't know what will happen as the time goes by... because Calculus and Physics is super tough.. Especially Calcucus.. It is harder than I imagined! Maybe I am not so good in Maths afterall... hehe...

Ok.. Gotta go now.. going to have my Physics class.. Mr Allan is a great lecturer... Don't want to be late to his class... haha..
