I surely agree that the mycology course is very fun... but gee..thinking about the collections..write-ups..n indoor experiments.., n assignments frm other courses.., all d courses term tests with endless materials to study.., seminar presentations.. ALL THESE SHIT already made me secretly wish I would carelessly eat a deadly poisonous mushroom during my field trip dis weekend.. xD LOL.. see if I could get my hands on any Amanitas out there..hehehe.... our campus has three..but the prof said those are not deadly enough.. xD

First term tests coming up like less than two weeks frm now. STRESS LIKE FUCK!

Materials start to get tougher to d extent of.. again..like Deja vu.. u do not understand what the prof was talking in lectures.. lol.. this happens every year..starting around October.. n February.. hahaha.....

If I like n dance to HEAVY ROCK..HARD ROCK..HEAVY METAL..music most of the time ROAR!! YEAH!! ( ok I like classical very much too.. gee..I m so confused.. T__T)

If I don't do sports on regular basis but whenever I go for sports..I do it to the EXTREME! juz like if I dun faint I won't go home type..hahaha....well can't deny my stamina does get boasted..Hmm..I wonder what causes it..lol..  (eg. the time since I last played squash was beginning of summer..~3 months ago? n I played for 3 hours today n wish so badly I can play for 3 more..but sky got dark n I hav to consider my personal safety coz I m no brucelee.. lol..)

If I m so fascinated by mushrooms currently n I can talk about them for hours n hours..lol..but..when this term ends..maybe I will lost interest in them.. conclusion I lost my interest fast.. (but hold on..I still love ancient history..anthropology..n much more... xP ) Okay.. maybe occasionally I do lost my interest fast.. =P

If I can read a book for the whole day..n forgot about my meals n such.. n if u disturb me u r gonna get a HEAVY PUNCH from me.. but when I read my course textbook..I fall asleep after 3 minutes..lol.. (doesn't make sense rite..if u have such amazing attention n focus to books (not boobs)..u shouldn't have fallen asleep)

If a person ask for my opinions I can talk to them for hours..n they have to ask for permission to leave.. =P but when I m required to present to the whole crowd..I start to pee in my pants..LOLOL!! *sigh... Y??!!!!

If I feel sad for the whole day when I saw a snail got crushed.. x( but not when flies died on my window pane.. Does that make me evil or something? but both are pests.. (well maybe coz one carries its home on its back.. T_T )

If I always thought that one day I would get stranded n lost in Amazon rainforest.. LOL... so now I trying my best to learn all the survival skills that I would need.. HAHA..not like I M GOING TO THE AMAZON NEXT MONTH TO SEE PIRANHA FISH OR SOMETHING... lolol..

Finally got all the equipment required for collecting mushrooms ready.. (oh gosh..post on mushrooms again..LOL).. was missing a suitable basket before this.. xD got one..n .. ya.. no handle one.. I found one with handle at a florist shop..but.. after looking at it.. nah.. baskets with handle are not suitable for guys.. HAHAHA.... u will look like red riding hood or something.. zzZ HAHAHA..

Last weekend .. went to walk around the campus woods trail..ALONE.. Hahaha.... n I tell u.. really..freaking..celakaly..CREEPY.. coz..it was a Saturday..n no one around the woods..well normal days also it's deserted..but weekends..campus is..like..kinda empty T_T dun mention the trail near the woods..hahaha... n I swear.. I kept looking behind my back.. LMAO!!! again.. I m really not a chicken ok.. but gee...when the wind blows..I nearly pee in my pants.. Lol..  at the end..got two basidiomycetes.. but they were damaged after that coz kinda crushed in the bag.. well..its ok..they were juz for experimenting..hahaha... n they rot coz were not refrigerated.. x(
this weeked.. I m going to hunt for mushrooms again.. xD Hmm...
did i tell u there is this Mock Forensic Investigation House or something near the trails..which I think mayb is for forensic students to practise crime scene investigation..the real purpose of it I m not sure of.. however.. it really does looks like a real crime had been committed there.. lol.. I swear.. it is creepy as hell..especially it has trees around n looks kinda shady.. *sigh...
Perhaps I shall juz go for the public park or something.. since there will be alot of people there during the weekends.. xD hahahaha..... my mom really should have sent me to learn Taekwando when I was young..

next weekend.. finally we are going to the research station at Algonquin Park.. YEAH!!

Prof promised us this would be the best n most enjoyable academic experience v can get during our academic years in UTM.. which I personally think is very true.. =) coz all the biology courses have labs ONLY.. n dis class size is small..so hopefully d interaction between classmates will be fun! =D n normally there is no field trips of 3 days 2 nights.. LOL.. n ya.. at night.. we will be having campfire n the prof will be baking too since she doesn't need to collect anything..hahaha.. =) Yee...  ya..where can u find a biology course this fun anywhere liao? lolol... (n of course dun mention n pls leave out the term exams n d materials to study HAHA..)

today we were taught the basic simple steps to identify a poisonous mushroom.. hahaha...but will learn more by next week..hopefully before the trip.. LOL... the identification steps hehehehe...I won't tell u here.. =P coz since I tell u also u won't know what I m talking about.. go Google urself.. xD lol..it has something to do wif a structure called universal veil n its remnants n also one of d families called Amanita.. x)

Really.. mushroom.. it can be so deadly! xD n a course in mycology which i think really would help..not like..lol anyone of us will be stupid enuf to simply eat wild mushrooms.. HAHAHA... juz in case u know..while u go camping u like to touch things rite.. or stranded in d mountains u need to eat.. man..u juz never know.. xP knowledge doesn't harm u.. hahaha....but ya..sometimes wif knowledge people harm others when their intention is not right..hehehehe.....

today... when the prof brought us around our beautiful campus to show where to find mushrooms..
her pocket knife.. is like.. well...if u use it to slice open a mouse..I doubt it would work..LOL.. but still it slices the mushrooms nicely with its short n tiny blade..
mine.. is like.. if u use it to chop a bear's head down.. I m pretty sure..it will work juz nicely.. LOL!!
so .. well.. conclusion.. I bought the wrong knife for my mushrooms.. Hehehehe.....
but I bought the right knife for.. if one day I got lost in the mountains.. HAHAHA... which I doubt it would ever happen.. coz..first..I like adventures..but the rational side of me told me to stay away coz i m getting old T_T second..these days wif gps and satelites..even if u r buried underground..people can still find u.. lol.
so still.. I INDEED BOUGHT THE WRONG KNIFE.. T_T i should juz use the small knife on my nail clipper.. HAHA...

but really... mushrooms are so fascinating..!!!!!

went online and search and found out.. holy cow.. there are so many fancy knives...
found one.. by Gerber Legendary Blades.. n it is Bear Grylls scout knife (actually ya.. Bear Grylls!! Partnership with this knife manufacturer Gerber for a series of survival knife..Woohoo!) ..if u dunno who is Bear Grylls.. u are not following my blog very carefully..LOL!
so ya... gonna get this pocket knife n it is very affordable n Walmart has it.. hopefully its edge will last.. well..it should since it is just for slicing up n collecting wild mushrooms..
n after all this slicing mushrooms..maybe I should keep it n carry it wif me... =) u never know when u will need a knife.. hahahaha.....like fighting off zombies? or skinning bear when u got lost in the wild..HAHA..

while searching on knives n looking at those CAPTIVATING type of knives it kinda reminds me of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) in The Expendables 2 Lol.. "I now pronounce you man and knife".. hahaha
